Tronic LED Bulb 5W E27 Warm White (LE 0527)

Our review

This is a Tronic LED bulb rated at 5 watts with an E27 screw base, listed in a warm white colour. It is the kind of bulb you would put in a bedside lamp, a hallway fitting or any spot where you want a softer, less clinical light rather than a bright white. Because it draws only 5W, it suits fittings you leave on for long stretches, and the E27 base is the common large screw type, so it fits most standard household lamps and pendants. Before buying, check the cap on your existing fitting actually matches E27 and that 5W gives enough light for the room, since a low-wattage bulb is dimmer than a higher one. Compare it with other LED bulbs on lifespan and energy use rather than upfront cost, and note that Tronic also offers cooler colour options if warm white is not what you want.
