Tronic Surface Downlight Round 24W Warm White

Our review

This Tronic fitting is a round surface-mounted downlight rated at 24 watts, and it produces warm white light. Because it sits on the surface rather than being recessed, it is worth considering for rooms where you cannot or would rather not cut into the ceiling, such as concrete slabs or finished ceilings you do not want to disturb. The warm white tone is the kind usually chosen for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways where a softer, cosier feel is wanted rather than crisp task lighting. Before buying, check the dimensions and the mounting base against your ceiling, and confirm the beam angle and whether it is dimmable, since those details are not listed here. Compare it with recessed downlights if you have the ceiling depth, and with cooler white versions if the space needs brighter, more clinical light. It is available on Sokonia.
